We are Erica Rae's Kids
We are an organization that helps disadvantaged children whose family, social or economic circumstances hinder their ability to succeed in school. Our mission is building a brighter tomorrow by helping our children today.
Our newsletter will keep you current on how we're helping students in need.
WHAT'S ON OUR MIND
Our new Box for School Program website is here! We're very excited to say that what used to be our "Kickoff to School" program has it's own focused website so we can make an even greater impact for students in need.

Make a Difference Day is sponsored by USA Today and is one day of the year where millions of socially conscious people from across the nation unite with a common mission – to improve the lives of others. We saw an opportunity to use this event to meet some of the people that we help throughout the year through our Giving Back in New Ways program—where we support the homeless in the downtown Denver area.
We are honored to be recognized as a 2015 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT by GreatNonprofits. Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence that we are a credible organization. A very warm thank you to all our supporters who posted such a large number of online reviews on our behalf.

IT ALL STARTED WITH ERICA RAE
Every nonprofit has a story… and ours is about our founder Pattie Hamann and her determination to continue the philanthropic work of her daughter, Erica Rae, who was taken from her in 2007.
Erica Rae was a vibrant young woman who—from the tender age of seven—was passionate about giving back to her community. Hearing Pattie talk about Erica Rae’s Kids is a transforming experience as she shares her journey from heartfelt grief to community-minded action. Pattie simply will not let all the goodwill Erica Rae created become idle. It’s heartwarming to all of us at Erica Rae’s Kids that a countless number of disadvantaged children and families share the spirit of Erica Rae every year.
